About Me

Y halo thar! Hello there! I am a human being possessing XX chromosomes who often goes by the name Anne. Born on a fifth of October, I am in my early twenties and I've always resided in a dismally humid and rarely pleasantly windy archipelago called the Philippines. I live with my aunt, who had sort-of adopted me and is my mother, best friend, and financier all rolled into one. I also have a white half-Labrador named Sirius as an excuse for a pet.

I am a graduate of Culinary Arts from one of the premier culinary schools in the country. I have a great love for food and while I have the tendency to eat everything in sight (seefood diet, it's been called), I am a flexitarian. Religiously, I am both a culturally Catholic and a spiritual agnostic. I am fluent in English and Filipino and at the same time, I'm not. It's just my tendency to mix them up sometimes. Grammar is never my strong suit but I at least try to express myself coherently. I also studied French and I believe I can be quite good with it if I really put my heart into learning that lovely language.

I am terribly tiny, standing at only about five feet in height, but I prefer to be called petite. It's a far prettier word. I also have a waif-like appearance except maybe around the face and people always suspect me as being younger that what I actually am, both physically and mentally. I guess I could say it's an insult as well as a compliment. I am spatially challenged resulting in me bumping into chairs, tables, and walls at the oddest instances and it's the reason why I can't dance even if my life depended on it. Or why a knife and I would make an interesting combination.
