About the Website

Created on early March 2007 and then relaunched at July 09, 2008, Aurorean is the third incarnation of my blog and personal site after Carpe Noctem (Seize the Night) and Crash'D. It's currently hosted by Belinda who's made of pure awesomeness.

Aurorean is an adjective which means characteristic of the dawn and seems to be a continuation of my habit of naming my sites after different times of the day.

The current theme you're viewing is called Cat's Meow. I had fun playing with the pen tool in Photoshop to create the curved navigation effect even if it took me hours to get it the way I want. Lately, I've been obsessed with using handwritten fonts such as Burst My Bubble and Just Me Down Here which I got from DaFont. The adorable cats are dingbats called Nyan, also download from the same font site. Pattern for the side bar below was taken from Squidfingers and modified by me. The adorable smileys found on the comment pages were taken from Aneesah's Hideaway.
